Yseult was a wood nymph, once. Ageless and eternal, she lived among many of her kind in the Forest of Thorns, in elder days when magic was more plentiful.

Much of her tale has passed into myth now, and her memory has been scattered by the turn of ages, but in those days, a great evil came to the Forest of Thorns, one so dark and mighty that it threatened to consume much of the world.
